Gayatri Joshi

Gayatri started off her career to fame, when she was selected as one of the final five contestants for the Femina Miss India title in the year 1999. She then made an appearance in many music videos and television ads and was much loved for her personality and portrayal of her characters. She hails from the city of Oranges, Nagpur and was born in the year 1977. And did early schooling from Nagpur and moved to the city of Mumbai, where when she was about to complete college, she started her career in ads for many brands. She married Vikas Oberoi in 2005; he works as a promoter of the prestigious Oberoi Construction. Gayatri gave birth to a baby boy on September 1, 2006. And four years later she gave birth to a second baby boy on 27 August 2010. Gayatri has been much missed by her fans and social media has seen quite a buzz about the issue. It is said that Swadesh was a movie ahead of its time and lacked the sense of glamour and glitter required in the movies of that time, and hence even when the movie was loved by the critics and some segment of the audience, it failed for the precise reason. And it is claimed that due to this Gayatri took the responsibility and did not make a comeback. However, there are no sources to this reason.
