Waqar Shaikh is an Indian television and film actor born on February 9. He got married to Shabnam Shaikh in the year 2000, and has two beautiful children; daughter and son Zoya and Ayaan respectively. He is best known for his work in Television industry.
His debut on television was on the series called Sarhadein that aired on Zee Tv. Further, on he worked in many popular televisions series Jannat, Kaali, and Chandrakanta which was an Indian fantasy series partly based on a novel by Devaki Nandan Khatri. He became famous for his talented performances in serials like Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Justujoo and Qubool Hai. He was last seen in Star Plus's popular show Saraswatichandra in, which he played a negative role of Rudra Pratap Rathore, and his performance was much appreciated. Apart from television, Shaikh also made his appearance on the silver screen with the film Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story in 2005.
He also appeared in a short film called Magic of Giving with TV actress Shweta Gulati, along with two digital films Manzar and Koyi Gawah Nahin. Films and television were not enough for the multitalented Waqar, after successful performances in TV series and films he was not afraid to put his talent to practice in the theater. He worked in a theater production of a comedy play called Scam, Bam, Thank you Mam!along with friend and Television actress Shweta Gulati.
