Vishal Thakkar is an extremely versatile and popular face in Bollywood and Tollywood industry. He became popular by playing the role of the "suicidal boy" in Raju Hirani’s super hit movie Munnabhai MBBS. Into his character, he went ahead to commit suicide because of unsuccessfulness in his love affair. Moreover, he has worked in a number of other films like Chandni Bar, Kabootar. Since then, he has played various cameo appearances in television series like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Veer Shivaji Veer Shivaji is a Hindi historical drama serial. Here he prepared the members of Gokuldham society for the upcoming new disco dance rivalry.

Currently, the talented actor is seen in Zee TV’s show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. Vishal will depict the character of Rajesh in the serial. The character of Rajesh will marry Ginni, the youngest daughter of the family. The actress Shalu Rajput is portraying the role of Ginni in the show. Vishal was also roped in to play a cameo role in Sony TV’s popular show Adaalat. He played the character of Dhiraj. Dhiraj and his friend tried to search the treasure contained pirate ship. However, the pirate ship is supposed to be a haunted ship. In the past, there were bits of gossip about him being roped in for the dubious show Big Boss season 7.
