Shavinder Mahal is an Indian actor, born in Amritsar, Punjab. He is known as a Punjwood actor and director. Along with movies, he has also done serials in Hindi and Punjabi, which is his mother tongue. Shavinder started his career in Punjabi films with the movie Baghi Soormey in 1993. He did 11 other films after that.
His filmography from the 90’s includes Putt Sardaran De in 1993, Deson Pardes and Main Maa Punjab Dee in 1998. His other work includes films like Vidroh where he played the role of Ravinder Ravi and Rustam-e-Hind, which was a film about pride and honor that is very important part of Punjabi culture.
