Navaniat Singh is an Indian director who is known for his work in Punjabi cinema. He has created many well-loved movies in Punjabi, as well as in Hindi. Navaniat Singh was born and raised in the heart of Bollywood, Mumbai. He grew up in a family of prominent cinematographers, but growing up, he had never envisioned a career in film for himself. But with his first ever-role as an assistant director, he distinctly grew to enjoy all the work that went into innovating and designing the scenes. His drive to bring more of Punjabi culture into the realm of films pushed him to direct many iconic movies like ‘Mel Karade Rabba (2010)’, ‘Dharti (2011),’ and ‘Rangeelay (2013).’
He started several trends in Indian film making, which set his work apart and inspired many cinematographers to follow. The music and dramatic flair of his films made them very popular with audiences. Navaniat made his debut in Bollywood with the comedy-thriller ‘Yamla Pagla Divana: Phir Se’ in 2018 starring Dharmendra,
