Shailesh Hejmady

Shailesh Hejmady is an Indian actor who works in stage plays and Bollywood movies. He was born on 6th November 1975 in Mangalore in Karnataka. Hejmady attended high school at the Chembur Karnatak High School in Mumbai from the Secondary School Certificate board of Maharashtra. He earned his Bachelor in Commerce degree from the St. Xaviers College in Mumbai. He has a son named Lalitaaditya. In January 2000, Hejmady made his theatre debut in Mumbai’s theatre group Theatre Unit where he acted in plays like Brahma Vishnu Mahesh, and Montage. He also operated and designed lights for Flirt In Your Dreams and produced Raincoat For All Occasion and Bus Itta Sa.

He still acts for the theatre production in Hidayat Sami’s Magic Pill. Hejmady also acts for the Arpana group in Sunil Shanbhag’s Stories In A Song. He also acted in the group’s Mastana Rampuri Urf Chhappan Chhuri and Walking To The Sun. He has been working with the group since 2004. He also worked with other Mumbai theatre groups like Atttic Salt Theatre, Akvarious Productions and Zero Theatre Group.
