Waseem Mushtaq is a versatile Indian actor and a model who appeared in various television shows. He was born on April 21, 1984 and was hailed at Srinagar, Kashmir and Jammu.

The actor started when he auditioned in the reality show, Indian Idol but he failed to get into the theatre round. He got upset but just before he left the audition room, he was asked by one of the jury, to try his luck in acting. He took Anu Malik’s advice and went to Mumbai post completing his Master of Business Administration. He started to work at the town office for music channels on Zee banner until one day, he was approached by to audition on Zee Next. When the channel shuts down, Waseem has done several auditions. He gets frustrated and unsure on what to do. He moved to Andheri Office and started to work again on daily basis. One day, he accompanied his roommate to an audition and he was selected to do the role of Anuj Sethi in the Hindi series, 12/24 Karol Bagh on Zee TV. Later, he acted in the Hindi series, Sabki Jodi Wohi Banaata Bhagyavidhaata on Colors. He appeared as Suraj Sinha, the son of Vinay (played by ) and Bindiya (played by ) after the 20-years leap in the story.

In 2012, Waseem essayed the role of Tej Malik, an army officer in the popular television soap, which was aired on Life OK. He got the role when Direktor Kut’s Productions called him for an audition in the show, Havan. But it didn’t work out and afterwards, they called him again and offered a role in Amrit Manthan. He was very thankful to the producer of the show since he received positive responses for his character as Tej.

This year, Waseem acted as Akshat Suket Khandelwal in Pradeep Gupta’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya which stars and on Zee TV. He played a supporting role opposite with Arpita Akshat Khandelwal (played by Niketa Agrawal).

Waseem was married to a non-showbiz girl named, Ayessha and they recently have their first baby boy named, Rayan. This actor faces a lot of issues while auditioning for various serials and fights the tight competition in the glamour industry. Luckily, because of his skills in acting, he will also be seen in the big screen very soon.
