Kunal Thakkur is an Indian actor and a television model. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He did his schoolings from Mumbai only. He graduated from “MMK College of Commerce and Economics” in Mumbai only. He joined theatre in his college days. He was passionate about acting from his childhood only. He acted in many plays, dramas and different events including one-act plays. He is a good tennis player and has won many tournaments.
Kunal acted in the serial “
Bandini
” in 2009. It was created by Balaji Telefilms and was telecasted on NDTV Imagine. The story of the serial is based upon the backdrop of a village of Gujarat “Dharampur”. The story is about a poor girl Santu Waghela who is married to a middle-aged Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi. Even after the death of Subhadra, his dead wife, he still loves her. His new wife is taking care of his 5 children. He is powerful man in the village. Kunal played the role of Arjan Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi who is husband oh Khemi sister of Santu. He was also seen in few episodes of popular crime detective series “C.I.D.” which was telecasted from 1998. It is the longest running television series in India. It completed sixteen years on Indian television. It is created, produced and directed by B.P. Singh for Sony TV.
Kunal also did a small role in bollywood in the movie “
The Xpose
” in 2014. It is a musical-thriller film directed by
Anant Mahadevan
