Irene Dkhar

Irene Dkhar was born and raised in Meghalaya, the capital city of the land of the Abode of Clouds. She has done her schooling from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School and graduated from St. Anthony college, Shillong. Irene Dkhar’s primary was English while she was pursuing her bachelor’s degree. She is passionate about theatre and drama and holds it in high regard. Besides her love of basketball, which instilled in her the value of sportsmanship, she also has a solid culinary and baking enthusiasm. Although she never had the chance or support to compete in pageants as a child, she always wanted to, and eventually, everything she had dreamed of came true due to God’s perfect timing.

The motto she lives by every day is “humility and ending hope and faith in God.” The mental health of people worldwide, particularly young people, is something that Irene is concerned about. Being present for others can lead to a better tomorrow, so she works tirelessly to advocate for mental health matters and spread to the world about it. She is adamant that having a sound mind comes before having a sound body. She spreads love everywhere she goes because nothing is impossible when God is at her side.

She sees this as a chance to make an incredible achievement. Irene’s mother is the most influential person in her life. Her mother has been the most resilient figure in her life regardless of the obstacles and misfortunes. Irene’s proudest moment in her life was winning the title of Miss Meghalaya 2022 and Miss North East 2022, which is the very same year. Irene has also won the title of Femina Miss India Meghalaya 2023 and Miss Grand India Meghalaya 2024. Her role model is Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, who did not give up after losing Miss World but worked her way to get the title of Miss Universe.
