Akash Gill is a model and an actor in the Indian Television industry. This Punjabi boy hails from the city of Chandigarh, Punjab. He was born on 2nd December 1994. Akash always dreamt of being an actor and started his journey in the pursuit of his dreams from being a Model. He did different modeling contracts, and photo shoots for various local and regional brands. Later on, he moved towards the Punjabi television industry to find a spot for himself. His debut show was named Chandni, which aired on the channel Punjabi TV in the year 2013. This year was the starting of his acting career. Before commercial television, Akash used to perform in Theatres. He worked with Punjabi theatre groups in Chandigarh. This was the place where he learned the different nuances of acting, which came into use in his later life.
Akash did a patriotic Punjabi documentary called Jaan-E-Azaadi, where he played the role of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in the year 2016. It was a life-changing event for him. He always wished to do a period role, and this project came to him as a dream come real event. This wasn’t the only reason to choose the play; the real one was the direction done by the eminent director Shyaam Benegal. Akash was lucky to perform in the presence of such talent. He was also part of Punjabi music videos, one which received a positive response was ‘Gucci di Chunni’. With modeling and theatrics, Akash started working in Hindi television shows.
