K.G. Suresh is a senior journalist born on September 26, 1968. He is a communication specialist. He graduated from the University of Delhi's Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan Kerela Education Society Senior Secondary School. Suresh is a Vice Chancellor of the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University. He is also a professor at the Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication in New Delhi and an honorary professor at Apeejay Stay University.
He was the Director-General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Senior Consulting Editor with DD News, Editorial Manager with Asianet News Network, India’s public news broadcaster, Group Media Advisor to Dalmia Bharat Enterprises, and Chief Political Correspondent with the Press Trust of India. He is a member of the academic council of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a member of the awards selection committee of the National Council of Science and Technology Communication. Suresh got the opportunity to be a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador for Peace through the Commonwealth Youth Program. In December 2017, Suresh was awarded the PRSI Leadership Award.
