Meera Devi is an Indian journalist and actress. Her mother is a Homemaker, and her father is a laborer. She did her postgraduation in political science. She is the Bureau Chief and Managing Editor of Khabar Lahariya, an Indian newspaper. She is also known as the woman of Khabar Lahariya. She joined Khabar Lahariya in the year 2006. This newspaper started in 2002, and it questions traditional gender depictions amidst the violence run by marginalized Dalit women. She gives training for the rural mobile journalism course and mentors those who joined as freelancers.
