Dr. Tanaya

Tanaya Narendra, better known by her stage name Dr. Cuterus, is an Indian educator, physician, embryologist, and scientist. Because her parents were reproductive specialists, Narendra was exposed to discussions about sexual health at a very young age. She completed her medical education in India, where she earned her MBBS degree. She later moved to the UK to research the science of assisted reproduction. To further her education, she enrolled in Oxford University's Master of Clinical Embryology program.

She registered as a doctor in England during her tenure in the UK. She launched her Instagram account, Dr. Cuterus, in 2020 to combat online sexual health misconceptions. She disseminates educational materials on various facets of sexual health. She also received immense respect as a Fellow for working with the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH).

In December 2022, she published a book titled ‘Dr. Cuterus- Everything Nobody Tells You About Your Body.’ She has received the Sexual Health Influencer of the Year 2020 by SH24 for her contributions to medical education in the field of sexual health, was featured among iDiva's ‘50 Most Beautiful Women in India’ for 2021, was one of the top 25 Disruptors of India, 2021 by Cosmopolitan Magazine, and also got the Health Influencer of the Year by the IHW Council.
