Ritu Beri

Ritu Beri is a Delhi based famous fashion designer, who is five feet 7 inches tall, is known for her work worldwide. She was born to Balbir Singh Beri (an elite army veteran) and mother Indu Beri (entrepreneur). She is also the most renowned International fashion designer and the first Asian designer to head Jean-Louis Scherrer a French fashion brand. Her collection is unique and gorgeous if we talk about Bridal collection the price is quite high and expensive.Ritu Beri started her schooling life with an Army School located in Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. She completed her graduation degree from Lady Shri Ram College in Economics honors, later joined the National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in 1988.

She was selected in the first batch of 25 students chosen from a large number of applicants countrywide.She was much passionate for her work so she itself started designing clothes for her friends and relatives. Later, in 1990 she established her own fashion studio "Lavanya” designed with excellent collection, which was sold instantly and truly cane into notice worldwide after 2000, as her sari collection became so popular. She is also the first Indian designer to forecasts fashion trends (first luxe collection) in Paris Fashion Week, the only Indian designer to be premiered in promostyles magazine “Acustyl”, hat Aires fashion trends the worldwide level. She wrote the the Most Expensive Indian Book, “Firefly – A Fairytale”, priced at Rs 1 lakh and published herself and another great book “101 Ways to Look Your Best” and greatly serves on the Board of Governors at NIFT.
