Sandeep Singhal

Sandeep Singhal is a renowned Indian personality in the world of entrepreneurship. He was born and raised in Kanpur, India. His father was a cardiologist at the GSVM Medical College. He holds a degree in Masters of Business Administration from Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He is the co-founder of Nexus Venture Partners since 2006 and has been growing its assets under management and oversees a portfolio of more than 75 companies before becoming a senior advisor in October 2021. Before Nexus, Sandeep also co-founded eVentures India in 1999, which is one of the earliest capital farm ventures in India. It later backed market leaders like NTT NetMagic Solutions, MakeMyTrip, Firstsource/CustomerAsset, etc. He was also the co-founder and CEO of Medusind Solutions which is a leading healthcare outsourcing Indian company. His career also includes significant positions at McKinsey & Company, Digital Equipment, EDA Systems, etc. He has served in over 25 both private and public companies which includes Indigo, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Kajaria Ceramics, Info Edge, IndiaMART, Just Dial, Vini Cosmetics, and many more. He has founded and served as the Chairman of the IIMA Endowment. He co-founded the Plaksha University and the Ashoka University through his family foundation. He is a trustee at the Board of the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment (ATREE) and (IFS) Indian Foundation for the Arts. Sandeep is actively involved with the Wharton and Stanford India Alumni Associations.
