Raj Nayak

Raj Nayak is a former chief operating officer responsible for Indian operations of Viacom, which is an American Multinational Mass Media Conglomerate, which works in the field of film and television industry. Raj has specialized experience in the entertainment industry. He started his career as a Regional Manager in Bengaluru, India, in 1990. He gained experience in that position for another two years. He then moved to Delhi and started working as a sales manager for the next three years on Star TV. For the next few years, Raj honed his skills in the sales industry and ended up being an Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Star India Pvt Ltd in the year 2002.

In the very same year, Raj joined NDTV Media Ltd as a Chief Executive and worked there for seven long years. He joined Colors TV in 2011 as a Chief Executive. In 2019, he parted himself with the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer in Viacom, after working for seven years. He currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is also working as a member of the board of Vistas Media Acquisition Co Inc. Raj has made a presence in board members of Tamil network GEC Vijay TV and e-commerce platform Indya.com. In September 2019, he founded the House of Cheer Networks Pvt Ltd. He is also a managing director in the House of Cheer Networks.
