Kumud Bappal is a renowned dubbing artist who resides in Mumbai. She was born in Mumbai on May 22, 1985. She is a leading Indian voice artist specializing in dubbing foreign language into the Hindi language, which is also her mother tongue.
She is also an accredited voice-over artist and has her name registered in the book of AVA India. AVA India is an association group for Indian Voice Artists. The association has paid due respect to all the leading dubbing artistes including ,

She also did dub voice in the Hindi language for a Manga series titled 'Ninja Hattori-Kun' for the character of Kenichi Mitsuba. Kenichi Mitsuba originally had japanese voice of Masako Sugaya. This serial was dubbed into hindi, and it has 694 episodes. Kumud only dubbed for the character in Season-1 which was aired on Nickelodeon India.
She was also the dubbing artist for a Japanese language movie 'Nin x Nin: Ninja Hattori-Kun.' The Hindi dubbed version was called “Nin X Nin" and was released on television three years after the original japanese version was released. It has premiered on Nickelodeon India many times since then. She dubbed for lead character Kenichi Mitsuba; the original sound was by Yuri Chinen.
In the year 2009, she did the dub for 'Sherlock Holmes', where she dubbed for character Irene Adler. She performed alongside with another voice-over artist
