DJ Vikas J is an Indian Disc Jockey (DJ) and music producer. He was born as Vikas Jangamwad. Being a DJ, he travels around the world and especially the country, but he predominantly resides in the metropolitan city of Pune in India. The labels he majorly works with are dirt, lies, and audio recordings. His major genres in mixing are dubstep and progressive house. Vikas completed his diploma in Sound Engineering and mastered his skill on Pro Tools - Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) during his studies.

His excellence got him a lot of job offers as soon as he was done with his course. DJ Vikas J was born and raised in the city of Pune. He realized his dreams and passion for Electronic Music at the age of 14. He started to test his musical skills on late 2006 as he worked on various DAW. After that moment, he never looked back and conquered the DJ Kingdom. He became one of the most popular DJs in the country. He started with EDM Music Production at the age of 15, while experiencing and practicing with a variety of genres like RnB to hip hop, house to trance, chillout and much more.

He garnered more attention on the music industry after winning “The Battle War of DJs” in the year 2011, which was organized by All Indian DJs Club. When Vikas experienced the DJ console, he decided to give DJing a back seat and concentrate on music production. After his hard work and a lot of struggle, Vikas stands out as one of the finest DJs today. He is also a popular EDM Producer in India. Some of his tracks which have been recognized by Indian Radio Station as well as at a global level are Lotus FM (South Africa), BBC Radio Asia, Dubai Radio Stations, Australia Desi, and more. Initially, Vikas’ choices have never been in the mainstream Bollywood music because personally, he is a fan of international music.

His original mixes can be found on the popular music website of Beatport. After multiple requests from his Indian fans, Vikas started remixing Bollywood music. His remixes are the most popular in the Radio Stations Networks around the globe. One of the most popular album series of DJ Vikas J was entitled Reborn 3, where three editions of the series have been launched.
