DJ Mercy is an Indian disco jockey produced by a young aspirant Prashant Rec. Born on 15th August, the sensation gained popularity back in 2014 when he impressed the audience by his exclusively hit remixes. The production has been classified as melodic, intelligent, progressive, and driving music, appreciated by various renowned clubs. Mercy usually performs trance, electro, and tribal flavor sounds, his best fusion as trance-progressive.

He has performed in many live Dj events all over India like; Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Jaipur, Bangalore, etc. The youngster has the gift of various skills, in making soundtracks, from pop to rock into his tune, which he calls “mercified.” One of his first hits was the “MER’C MASHUP VOL 1” in December 2014, consisting of 6 soundtracks, on trending songs like Sunny Sunny from movie “yaariyan,” Khalnayak from “Cholishaft,” Shanghai from “Dua,” etc.

the tracks gained immense popularity and hit the million view mark. Later in 2015, his new track “WAR” was released, which described the feeling of a soldier in a battle; it topped the Indian charts at rank 92. Prashant released his volume 2 in the year 2016 with hits like “Escape To Bollywood.” He did some commercial Bollywood songs, collaborating with various disco jockeys. The first album was featuring Dj Harsh in “H&M Bollynation.”

Apart from bollywood hit numbers like Tu Jaane Na, Sayonee, Naina, Urvashi Urvashi, etc he did some international hits remixes too, Let Me Love You, Something Just Like This, Starboy to name a few. 2017 made a hit with the release of many albums like “Mauja Hi Mauja,” “Summer Pack,” “Shooting Stars,” etc which gained immense popularity among the groovy audience.

He made a few retro remixes of hit songs like “Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna,” “Mehbooba Mehbooba” etc. Prashant has many hobbies too, including reading books, writing, gymming, and playing with dogs. He has a pug pet dog. Since childhood, the Deejay used to collect old coins and save them in his collection. MER’C released his last track on April 11, 2020, “Mehrama” and has been praised by the listeners during the time of quarantine. The flair has a radiant future in the field of disco due to his colossal adroitness.
