Dj Mazzr

Mazzr started his profession as Disc Jockey at the age of twenty. He wanted to break the traditions of Disc Jockeying and music. He set new standards to jockeying and followed the path that fulfilled his desires. He was a lover of music since always, and his favorite musical instrument is Sitar. His music has a happy journey, and he will continue to be a sensation always. His career is not just limited to India. He has shown his colours outside Indiaas well. In places like London, South Africa, his talent flared with full-force.     

He has commendable achievements in his field. In the year 2002, he earned the second place in the competition Cafe Coffee Day in the DJ hunt. The following year, he stood fifth in the Bangalore War of DJs. Then in 2004, he won the Times Music War of DJs held at Chennai. The same competition took place in Mumbai as well. He was the second runner-up there and won the award for DJ with the best attitude in India. The next year, Times Music War was held at Bangalore. He won that as well. The same year, he was the first runner up at the Times Music War of DJs held in Hilton Mumbai. People declared him as the India’s sexiest DJ. 

In the year 2007, he participated in Nokia Remix and grabbed the first prize there as well. The next year, i.e. 2008, he won the STEREO FX Remix Award in South Africa. In Southern India, he was marked as the NDTV Best Digital Disc Jockey in the year 2009. No other DJ has been appreciated and honored as DJ Mazzr. He has won and achieved a lot of fame.

When he gained enough fame in India, he tried his hand outside the country. He decided to venture outside the Nation. His music was selected by a record label Stereo FX Records in South Africa, London, etc. He also entered into an agreement with the hosts of the company. He was the first solo artist in Chennai to trade with the international producers. He has performed in some of the best clubs. He is famous for live shows, and Electro/Tribal/House/ Trance Sessions. He is the first artist to go for National tours promoting his unique mixes and tunes. He doesn’t have any particular genre and adapts all of them.
