Vidar Joshi is an Indian writer and director based in Mumbai. He likes to explore the themes of symbolism, realism, and surrealism. He is fascinated by the idea that our day-to-day life is a reflection of the intrinsic truth of the universe. He creates characters through what he discerns of the life around him to develop relatable storylines. Vidar started a team called ‘Semicolon Films” in 2017 and has been making short films, music videos, and other types of video content under it. His short film 'In Space Without A Spaceship' was an 'Official Selection in Jio MAMI 2018'. His short films were showcased at different film festivals. He is currently working on the post-production of his first feature film “Shunya”.
