Srinivas Sunderrajan or Vaas is an Indian musician and an independent filmmaker based in Mumbai, The City of Dreams. He started his career in 2006. Vaas is widely known and famed for his films The United Kartik Krishnan Project (2010), Great Elephant (2012) and Gurgaon (2018), not just this, he directed the third season of The Dewarists (2013).

As a musician Srinivas plays the bass for Mumbai’s hardcore band Scribe. The film premiered at the Greatest South Asian Film Festival in New York City and won The Jury Prize in the category of Best Narrative Feature of the Year 2011.A part was screened at the Indian Films Festival of Hope and in Copenhagen at a festival called CPH PIX. Srinivas, along with direction and writing, loves photography, entertaining his audience on the Vimeo app by making videos, and he is not afraid to share his opinion on his social media.
