Shardul Karandikar is an Indian cinematographer who has majorly worked in the Hindi film industry. He has directed and written several independent short films. Shardul grew up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and joined H. L. Institute of Computer Application. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer studies, but he later moved to the field of cinema to pursue his passion for creating visual media. His love for dance led him to choreograph and teach dance at Zanzaree Group of Performing Arts.
He joined Videowala Productions as an editor and made his debut as a writer and director with the short film, Prakash, in 2019. The film follows the bond between a mother and daughter and their struggles in life. He went on to work on the TV series, ‘
