Jodha Akbar as the show was hit by controversy one after another before going off the air in the year 2015. The last controversy to hit the show was the director himself.
Santram Verma, we hear, allegedly assaulted actress
Paridhi Sharma aka Jodha of the show. Having been charged with such an accusation was not the first time for Santram Verma. Months earlier, one of the actors,
Ankita Dubey, came up with a complaint against the director where she accused him of harassing her. And the complaints didn't stop there. Because of Santram's behavior, 90 people walked out of the show last year. We also heard that the director is famous for throwing his weight around and became a terror on the sets of the show. It certain sections of the media it has been reported that previously producer Ekta Kapoor had received various complaints against Santram, but she chose to ignore them.
