Paridhi Sharma is popularly known as the beautiful looking Jodha, in the epic serial . She was on born on 15th May 1987. For the auditions of the ‘Jodha Akbar’, Paridhi was given a long page of dialogue to enact and immediately when she ended it, shouted out loud, “She is my Jodha!” It is a sheer coincidence that her father holds a PhD in history. ‘’ in the year 2010 was the first initiative taken by Paridhi towards an acting career. Subsequent to it, she was seen in the serial ‘’. Although, Paridhi has keen interest in acting but a corporate job is what her parents looked for her. She has done her schooling from Emerald Heights International School. In the year 2012, she did her graduation in BBA from Prestige Institute of Management and then pursued her post-graduation from Pune in MBA. However, the budding actress managed to convince her parents, and then moved to Mumbai. She kick started her acting career with theatre, with performances at Prithvi Theater too. Paridhi is happily married to Tanmay Saxena. After being declined once, Tanmay wrote a 35 page letter that explained everything, his feelings as well as the narration of their meetups. This letter overwhelmed her, and she realized her feelings for him too. The duo married after dating each other for several years. Tanmay is employed with a MNC – M&M Ltd, and resides in Mumbai. However, he does travel frequently to meet Paridhi to Karjat She has a long list of awards to her credit such as Zee Rishtey Awards 2013 in the category Best Jodi with (Jodha Akbar), Best Jodi with Rajat Tokas (Jodha Akbar) in Garv Indian TV Award for Best Debut Female (Jodha Akbar) in 7th Boroplus Zee Gold Awards 2014, Fresh New Face Female (Jodha Akbar) in 13th Indian Telly Award 2014, Fresh Star (Jodha Akbar) in Garv Indian TV Award.
