During the beginning of his career, he worked as an assistant boy on the film sets. ‘Gandhigiri' became his first directed Hindi movie. He announced it in 2000 and registered the script in 2014. He has also made Bengali, Rajasthani, and other regional languages films too. This movie was in his mind for ten years. Sanoj comes from a regional movie network. He is already active in Bhojpuri film industry for several years and had made some action films like Bazigar and Betab starring Ravi Kishan, Pawan Singh, and Khesari Lal Yadav. He is now planning to make a Hollywood movie.

The film took two years complete. From his childhood, he was attracted to TV, radio, and film and landed up in Mumbai. He came to Mumbai 20 years ago and worked as a spot boy. He is in the industry for 20 years. Before the release, his name was missing from the trailer and poster of the film, but when the truth came to light, he went to court and objected the film’s release. Ltd. of Sudhir Jain & Pratap Singh Yadav are about to launch his next project. He also launched a channel in his name. His struggle for 21 years in Bollywood finally ended up with success of ’Gandhigiri.’ He worked as an assistant director for years, and recently he became an independent director. He feels that if one’s motto is in the right direction, then one can get success in cinema. His struggle in 20 years film industry is an example. He has an advice to youth and new generation, that one has to first understand if he has talent in the cinema field, then he should take up his journey.
