Some of the notable plays he had performed were Heer Ranjha and Antigone. He has acted so far in 125 plays. He was not just a good actor but also an excellent singer and shot a music video album named ‘Jazba’ in 2002. As a stage artist, he has also directed a Hindi play’ Andhayug’ (playwright Dharamveer Bharati) where he had assembled 70 actors gathered to perform the 18-days of Mahabharata war. His finest performance in a Bollywood movie was from film Daayraa(1996).
