Pramod Pati is an Indian Film Director. He was born in Odisha in the year 1932 and studied there. He has done graduation from Utkal University in Bangalore and worked for a few years in the Odisha state government. He was awarded a scholarship to study in Czechoslovakia under the legendary puppet maker, illustrator, motion-picture animator, and director Jiri Trinka. His work journey was small but filled with genre-busting and dazzling work. His short films date back to the 1960s and 70s, but they remain strikingly fresh. He preferred non-narrative ways of storytelling and mixing the cultures of Indian and Western.
