Moti B. Gidwani is a famous director, actor, supporting actor, and producer who worked predominately in the Hindi film industry at the time of Un-divided India. He was born in 1905 in Sind, British India. After partition in 1947, it is in Pakistan. He is widely known for the films Khazanchi 1941, Kisan Kanya 1937, and Zamindar 1943. He started his journey in the film industry as the director of the film Nisha Sundari in 1929. Then, he directed a short film, Midnight Girl, in 1929. He directed 4 films alone in 1930. He has directed around 20 films and produced one film during his time in the industry. Some of his directed movies are Baccha I Sakka in 1930, Daku Ki Ladki in 1933, Insaan Ya Shaitan in 1933, Yamla Jat in 1940, Manjari in 1934, Noor Mahal in 1934, Dilara in 1934, Niti Vijay in 1932, Gulam in 1931, Anangsena in 1931 and many others. He directed his last film, Khamosh Nigahen in 1946. He produced the film Khazanchi in 1941.
