Kartik Venkatraman worked for Bank of America for 14 years before quitting to pursue his dream of becoming a filmmaker.He began training at the New York Film Academy to enhance his talents as a filmmaker after writing three feature film screenplays and numerous short film screenplays.
During the pandemic, his debut short film, "Terahvin (Thirteen)", was shot in New York City and received a lot of praise and a positive response from the audience. It was selected for nine film festivals and received two awards. His second picture, "The Neighbor," has received much praise, with 150 thousand views on YouTube, five awards, and official selection in ten international film festivals. After "The Neighbour," he has directed three more short films.
He has directed three more short films since "The Neighbour." His recent film, "Smoking Kills," was selected for the Canned Film Festival. He has started working on his first feature film, " Karma Click to look into! >> Read More... ," which is in the pre-production stage.
Kartik has written and directed five short films. His films won eight awards out of 23 international nominations. He has worked as a producer and cinematographer in some films.
