Deep Choudhury is a well-known Indian director for his work in Bengali cinema. Later on, he directed two other films which were of success, including Dwitiyo Purush in 2020 and Anuranan in 2022. Deep Choudhary was born in West Bengal.
He had an interest in filmmaking since childhood and went on and pursued filmmaking at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune, Maharashtra. After earning his degree from the FTII, he worked as an assistant director on several films, including Ghawre Baisya Bari (2014) and Aparajita Tumi (2016). Choudhary has won several awards in his lifetime for his work, some of them including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali (2018), the BFJA Award for Best Director (2019), and the Anandalok Award for Best Director (2019).
