Karan Marawala is an Indian film director. He was born on 22nd November 1993. His hometown is Hyderabad, and he now lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India; he speaks many languages, including Hindi, English, Telugu, and Tamil. In addition, he completed a BA in Business Economics from the University of Exeter and an MA in Filmmaking from MET film School (2015 to 2016). Further, he has experience as a Trainer teacher at Oakridge International School. He had done this work for two months; in that, he helped the students with learning difficulties and taught class leadership for Junior school.
Furthermore, he has directed several short films and worked in a few fashion films, corporate films, web series, advertising, and infomercials. In 2013, he made his first individual short film “Pinnacle” as a director and scriptwriter, and also known for his hit film, Punjab (released in 2017), Toothache (2017), Date (2017), Hook, Yevade Subramanyam (2015) and Lurk in 2015. Interestingly, he loves to read history, human anthropology, and novels. At least read two books in the month; he said this in the interview.
He worked as a photographer and did a fashion shoot for his mother, Asmita Marawala. Moreover, he had experience in movie posters, landscapes, interiors, weddings, and more.
