Indranil Kashyap is a director and screenwriter. He was born on 19 July 1986. Indranil is an alumnus of the film and Television Institute of India. He began his journey with a theatre in Delhi before entering in films. His films explore the concerning intersection of language, culture, gender, and violence. He had worked in various languages consisting of Hindi, Assamese, Marathi, Bengali, and English.
The multi-lingual Netflix film firebrand appointed him as a Chief assistant director.His short film Kula, won the special jury award in 2016 at the SiGNS film festival.
