Hussein Khan

Hussein Khan is a well-known director and actor from the Bollywood film industry. In 1993, he started his career as an actor in the TV serial Vanchit on National Doordarshan Channel. In 1996, Hussein founded his own production house. In 1999, he became the writer, producer, and director of the show Kabhi Hum Khoobsurat Thai. Later, he made documentaries, Television programs, and music albums for national and international audiences. He was honored with Best Program Director from the SITI Entertainment Network in 2007. His most significant achievement was the film Kashmir Daily, which he produced and directed. It was the first movie based on Kashmir. His contribution to cinema was acknowledged when he received the Youth Peace Prize in 2017.

In 2018, he received recognition by Infotel for his outstanding contribution to filmmaking. Hussein has shown all his skills as an associate director, actor, producer, and writer in the film BedNo 17, which was released in 2020. He worked as an actor in the movies like Oxygen, Code Blue, Cyanide, Angithee, Footprints, and Lihaaf. His film Lines has been nominated for Best Direction at the Mumbai International Film Festival, USA. In his other movie, Kashmir Se (2023), he worked as an actor, director, and writer.
