He is an extraordinary filmmaker who made the 2013 acclaimed Gujarati film named “The Good Road.” At the 86th Academy Awards, this was India’s official entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category. Despite not making a mark at the Oscars, the film later received the 60th National Awards under the category of Best Gujarati Film. Masterfully created in a non-linear narrative, the plots are intertwined, and each frame presents the beauty of rural Gujarat differently, and Correa’s craftsmanship dazzles everyone. He had been a reputed advertising director. Fascinated by the charm of rural India, in his theatrical presentation “The Good Road,” he almost made the highway a vital character by giving it human qualities. Mr.Correa went on a tour of the vast lands of Gujarat, living the earthy Gujarati life first-hand. He has made an innumerable number of successful advertisements by dealing with Electrolux, J&J, other FMCG, hair, and baby products.
