Dar Gai is a creative storyteller and filmmaker. She has made a position for herself in the business with her vision and voice, capturing audiences with her thought-provoking storytelling and aesthetically breathtaking flicks. Dar Gai is born on 15th December in Kyiv, Ukraine. She experimented with a variety of artistic techniques, such as painting and photography, before deciding that filmmaking was her actual calling. Her artistic activities were motivated by her intense concern with societal issues and human emotions. She graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a BFA and MFA in philosophy with a minor in theater and cinema. Later, she received an invitation to India where she would be directing plays at the Scindia School in Gwalior.

She additionally provided the screenplay and cinema appreciation instruction at Mumbai's Whistling Woods International Institute. Dar Gai's breakthrough came with her debut feature film, “Teen Aur Aadha”, which garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards at international film festivals. The film showcased her unique storytelling style, combining nonlinear narratives and poetic visuals to delve into the complexities of human relationships. It was hailed as a bold and fresh voice in Indian cinema. Her film “Namdev Bhau: In Search of Silence” further solidified her reputation as an unconventional storyteller. It explored themes of solitude and introspection, depicting the journey of a man in search of inner peace amidst the chaos of modern life.

The film resonated with audiences and received widespread acclaim. Dar Gai's films often tackle social issues, shedding light on topics that are often overlooked.
