Anusha Nandakumar is a Film director, producer, and writer working in the Hindi film industry. She is primarily known for her work in the 2019 film Pandu. She hails from Pune, Maharashtra. She completed her Bachelor’s degree from Fergusson College in 2010 before pursuing a degree in Film Direction and Screenplay Writing from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. During her time at the film institute, she got awarded the National Film Award for Best Exploration/Adventure film for her student feature, Boxing Ladies. In 2011, she directed the short film Sita Haran Aur Anya Kahanyan before entering the film industry. She started as an assistant director in the acclaimed 2016 film Crd. Subsequently, she went on to direct Pandu (2019).
She has also produced many acclaimed TV series, including Shanti Kranti (2021), Jhoom (2021), and B.E Rojgaar (2022). In 2016, she co-founded the popular Marathi Youtube channel, Bharatiya Digital Party, a channel dedicated to satirical comedy and music videos. Nandakumar has produced many short films and series for the channel.
