Ria Chatterjee is a dancer and choreographer. She is from Jamshedpur, Bihar, India, and lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Ria completed her studies at Jamshedpur and became co-founder and producer of The Dance Academy in Mumbai. The show Dance India Dance Season 6 on Zee TV was created and produced by Esselvision Productions, in which She is among the top 10 selected contestants and the runner-up.
Ria Chatterjee has trained from Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and then became a member of it. She is a dancer and has practiced in classical and Bollywood styles of dance. Ria has a diploma in Classical dance form- Kathak. She has performed at various dance shows such as Street Dancer (Rupashi Bangla), Dance Bangla Dance (Zee Bangle). She is the winner of dance shows including Dance Jharkhand Dance, Dhoom Machale (ETV Bihar), Lajawab Talent Show (DD Metro).
