Dinesh Salunkhe is an Indian cricketer. He was born on 12 November 1982. His birthplace is Mumbai. He played for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (2008). He has appeared in T20 cricket as a right-handed batsman and leg-break bowler. Dinesh hadn't made a debut in first-class cricket. He made his IPL debut on April 19, 2008, in the match against Delhi Daredevils His last match for Rajasthan Royals was against Kings XI at Mohali on May 28, 2008. On 15 th April 2009, he was no longer part of the team because of his poor form on the field. Salunkhe came under the spotlight when he was announced as ‘Man of the Series in the first season of Cricket Star (India’s first-ever cricket talent-hunting reality television show), and as a reward, he earned a scholarship with Leicestershire County Cricket Club for 2007 English Cricket season.
