Narendra Pal Singh is an Indian artist predominantly associated with the Sports industry. He is a Creative Director and an editor. He has a Bachelor of Science degree at University of Delhi. He worked as an associate editor at TV Today, where he was a core team member which launched Aaj Tak 20 minutes news capsule followed by a full-fledged 24 hours new channel. He worked as a senior editor at NDTV from 2003 to 2007. He was an executive editor at Amar Ujala Publications Limited. He worked as an executive editor at Prabhat Khabar. He was a creative director and Vice President at Star TV Network. He was among the first members to join the Sports Team when Star India bought out ESPN's stake in the sports business.

Being a part of the core team, he helped in shaping the content strategy and expanding the horizon of sports coverage in India. He was a part of the core team for "Pro Kabaddi League", responsible for creating the entire broadcast narrative for the sport. From training talent for commentary to creating a new vocabulary, he played a significant role in making a largely rural sport urbane and chic. Over the next four seasons, he gave the sport a uniform shape and structure. He contributed in the Pro Kabaddi League being India's most valuable league after the IPL.

 In the Rio Olympics, he was responsible for the entire Hindi content piece - from shaping the overall narrative to training over a dozen commentators across 18 disciplines to overseeing daily operations. Khelo India was Star's first and only multi-sports production, and he led the project since the inaugural season. He worked with the Sports Ministry and the Sports Authority of India to create a compelling broadcast proposition. Over 100 million people viewed the Games in its inaugural season. He was integral member in shaping the production template for sports like Kho-Kho that were televised for the first time. In 2017, he was selected to lead Star Sports. During the ensuing couple of years, Star Sports first grew to become the second largest channel in the sports bouquet, contributing to more than 30% of the total viewership during Pro Kabaddi League Seasons 5 & 6.

Also, he was a part of the core team for Hockey India League and Hockey World Cup 2018 that re-launched Hockey India League in 2014. He was given the responsibility of designing & executing the entire broadcast piece for the 2018 Hockey World Cup.
