Prashant Shikare is a creative director and pre-production artist who hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He studied at Madhyamik Vidyalaya Mankhurd and further completed his degree studies at the University of Mumbai. Prashant has experience of more than ten years in his field. His short films like Komal, Education Counts, The Rose & Like Sisters for CHILDLINE have won him numerous accolades in International Film Festivals and India. Komal, a short film based on child sexual abuse, was selected under the category of best education film that won him a National Award.
Prashant is animation director & conceptualizer for India's first live-action and 3D animation feature film Toonpur Ka Superrhero. Moreover, he has storyboarded, visualized, and assisted on more than 100 commercials such as Kelloggs, Britannia Tiger, Whisper, Volini Duo, and several leading brands. Prashant has been working for a few years now as a project director at Paperboat Design Studios, creative director at United Vision & an animation director at Climb Media (India) Pvt. Ltd.
