Smriti Choudhary is an Indian celebrity who works as a Creative director in the Hindi film and entertainment industry. She has been interested in art since childhood but was unaware of the career choices available. Her mother had a significant influence in her life as she was an excellent painter. She did her graduation in Design and Visual Communications in 2005 from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Her art was initially mostly digital and it was much later that she discovered art on paper. She is the founder and creative head of Airphish situated in New Delhi since 2013 and of Pinksoda Design Studio in 2006. Airphish is based on nature when they make products based on creative imagination. The designs start with hand-drawn illustrations transferred on unique product designs. She adds music to the artwork, which sets it apart from other existing artworks.
Her collection is called ‘Nazar Battus’ which is an embodiment of Indian culture where mask illustrations are used which is believed to ward off evil. These illustrations can be seen on doors and gates and are made with immense skills. She has gained experience in her field since 2005 when she first started working as an associate producer at Times Now in 2005 and later became the Associate Designer at the National Institute of Design, 2005. She has gained several skills over time with her experiences, such as Branding & Identity, Print, Web, and Illustration. She believes that she is still on the process of learning, developing, exploring, and growing.
