Akshay Tyagi

Akshay Tyagi is n Indian costume designer, fashion stylist, and creative consultant in the Bollywood industry. He completed his schooling at Kodaikanal International School in South India. In 2008, he graduated with a BFA in Fashion and Textiles from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. In his design work, he strives to combine the ephemeral nature of ideas with a very concrete and tactile experience, recognizing the conceptual mindset within which he works continually. Akshay's design work is incredibly varied; it includes designing celebrities on and off the red carpet, conceptualizing cutting-edge exploratory editorials, and making hundreds of costume pieces for popular Bollywood films like Sheer Qorma, Bharat Ane Nenu, Bang Bang, and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.

Akshay's dynamism and willingness to take chances when the style has earned his work a constant presence in ads, editorials, and brand campaigns.
