Piyush Bhagat is a widely acclaimed dancer-choreographer who has become a household name primarily in the Indian hip-hop scene, and Bollywood, in the bigger picture, in a relatively short span of time. Born on the 30th of August, 1997, Piyush hails from the bewitchingly beautiful city of Jammu in Jammu & Kashmir. His father is a businessman and mother, Alka Bhagat, a government employer. Despite being a studious guy all through his childhood, Piyush has always been fascinated by his sister who is a phenomenal dancer. She is his chief source of inspiration.

He started dancing merely at the age of 10. He is also equally proficient in another dance form known as ‘Gatto.’ Apart from dancing, his other hobbies include acting, playing football and watching movies. The staggering number of followers on his different social media accounts bear witness to the immense popularity that he has mustered among today’s youth. Piyush started trying his luck in local dance shows in Jammu & Kashmir and achieved quite a name.

He took part in North Zone Dance competition in 2009 and stood first. And then in 2009 itself, he took part in the dancing reality-show Boogie Woogie on Sony Entertainment Television where his incredible performance in the Michael Jackson special episode finally brought him in the public eye. In 2010, he took part in another big reality-show Chak Dhoom Dhoom which was telecasted on Colors Television and became the runner-up. He was the second runner-up in the 2016 reality-show Dance Plus Season 2.
