Dance Champions is a dance competition reality television show. Dance competitions shows are a subcategory of reality television in which various people are selected based on their dancing talent and are then made to compete against one another in a bid to grab more points. Dance Champions follows the same format of dance reality television shows however the show has a bit of a different concept. In the show, two kinds of participants are selected. One of them are the ones who have already won some other dance shows and the other kinds are the participants who stood as runner up in different shows. The show Dance Champions pits these two types of dancers against one another and see which among them deserves the title of champion. The contest or competition was aptly named Challengers vs Champions.
