Marischa Fernandes is a dancer and choreographer who has enjoyed the limelight ever since her appearance at the popular reality dance show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa on Sony Entertainment Television. She lives in Mumbai and is an alumnus of Apostolic Carmel High School. She is also a student of the well-known choreographer Shiamak Davar.

Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Journey:

Season 2: She was first noticed when she was chosen to be the choreographer/dance partner of the hockey player Mir Ranjan Negi in the second season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. The duo went on till the semi-finals of the show and then got eliminated.

Season 3: She came back to the show in Season 3 to partner up with the television actor Ram Kapoor. The duo got eliminated in Round 5 of the show.

Season 4: In Season 4, she teamed up with Meiyang Chang and emerged as the winner through hip-hop, contemporary and Indian Dance Forms to beat the 12 other dancing duos.

Season 6: In Season 6, she partnered with the popular singer Shaan and became the most talked about duo of the season. However, she suffered an injury during rehearsal and was replaced by Sneha Kapoor.

Season 7: She could not make it to Season 7 of JDJ because of medical issues and was badly missed by the die-hard fans of the show.

Season 8: She made a comeback to the show in Season 8 (also called Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Reloaded) and partnered up with the TV actor Mohit Malik to reach the finals along with Faizal Khan, Shamita Shetty and Sanaya Irani. The duo was the first among the four to get eliminated.

Marischa is reportedly dating Deepak Singh, who was also a choreographer on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. They met in the second season of the show and have been dating for 8 years. They are said to be very serious about the relationship and plan to get married soon.

Manas Katyal, a 22-year-old engineer who worked as a media professional, came into the limelight with his participation in Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, a sensibility show telecasted on NDTV Imagine. The show commenced from June 29, 2009, and was presented by Bollywood star Ram Kapoor. Manas Katyal finished the show as the 1st runner-up after Rakhi chose Elesh Parujanwala as the winner. This was just the commencement of the showbiz career for this young event manager from New Delhi. After completing his engineering, Manas started working as a media professional. His initial job ventures include Emx world where he worked from 2012-’13 and Bluenote Entertainment where is working till now since 2011. After which he has been working in Mango Production. Cashing in on the success of Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, which received skyrocket TRP and media coverage being the first of its kind show on Indian television network, Manas starred in various other reality shows. He worked in the game show Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, which broadcasted on Imagine TV and the show was the Indian translation of the American reality program Wipeout on ABC. It was entertained by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, where he was also one among the contestants, but didn’t qualify for the final round. Manas also starred in the Asian version of the famous show The Amazing Race Asia 4, which airs on AXN. Manas teamed up with Sahil, where they finished at the position. Manas also featured on Emotional Atyachar Season 5, where he faced some controversies in connection to his video being removed from the channel. Manas is still active in the business of event management and spearheading towards success.
