Born on 18 April, 1986, Sneha Kapoor was popularly known by her character name Sharon. She played the part of Sharon in the youth based channel V's show Dil Dosti and Dance. However, recently she left the show and now the character of Sharon is being played by actress Vrushika Mehta.

She runs her own dance institute named Sneha Kapoor Institute. Sneha started his dance career with an Bangalore based dance organization. Amid her residency at the school, Sneha and her dance accomplice Tholoor won a few honors in salsa titles over the world. She currently holds the world record for maximum number of dance flips in a single minute. She and her dance accomplice set the world record of 39 flips beating the previous best of 33 flips in a single minute. She afterwards took part in the dance show dance India dance for the 3rd season. She was among the top 20 finalists of the show, but later got eliminated. She likewise has choreographed for shows like perfect bride and just dance. She marked her acting debut with the show Dil Dosti and Dance aired on Channel V.

On December 2, 2014 she got married to her Co star . Lavin too was the part of the show . He played the character of Shivam in the show.
