Sunil Sawara

Sunil Sawara works as a writer, stand-up comedian, host, scriptwriter, and actor. He was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Sunil soon moved to Mumbai and pursued his graduation from the University of Mumbai. He even attended Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth and Shastri Hindi Vidhyalaya.

Apart from shows on television, Sunil has done over 1000 live shows across India and abroad as host and comedian. He usually charges fifty thousand per show.

Sunil has also done five comedy films. Viewers appreciated his acting skills in Bhawnao Ko Samjho and Ishq Wishq Total Risk. Sunil also acted in a Bhojpuri film named Baglwali Jaan Maaraili. Sunil wrote poetry namely SrijamSambarbh and Thali Mai Chaid.

Sunil had attached laurels to his identity by winning numerous awards. These include Yuva Kavi Protsaahan Puraskaar in 2006 by Home Ministry of India, Hasya Shiromani Award in 2007, Chhatrapati Shivaji Puraskar in 2009 and Best Anchor Award at Miss India Contest in 2013. Sunil’s presence of mind, confidence, sensibility and stage appearance makes him a renowned artist who is appreciated by one and all.
