Nirmal Sharma

Nirmal Sharma is a part of the editorial team of Vikrant Studios. He is the Di colorist of Vikrant Studios. The role of a Di colorist is a very significant one in the movie industry. Nirmal as a Di colorist is responsible for the manipulation of colors and other image features once the digitization of the motion picture is done. He undertakes the process of color grading and color correction of the films which are to be released on the silver screen. As told by a colorist, color correction is like a photoshop for motion pictures. A particular software is used by the Di colorist for color correction and color grading. Nirmal Sharma, the chief Di colorist of Vikrant Studios, has been involved in some major projects of the Bollywood film industry. It includes "Interior Cafe", "Little Terrors", "All is well", "Ebn-e-batuta", "Yaara silly silly", "The Dead End", "Beimaan love", "Babumoshai bandookbaaz", "Aksar 2", and few others. The very talented artist also did the editing of the symbolic short film, "Living Idle." The picture was released in 2017. The short film talks about the repercussions of our actions. "Babumoshai bandookbaaz" is another motion picture edited by Nirmal. The film is a crime thriller edited by K. Nandy, released in 2017. The film was a box office hit and received critical as well as commercial admiration. "The Dead End" is another motion picture released in 2016, which could not have been made that what it is without Nirmal's work. When as audiences we watch a motion picture, we tend to shower the actors and actresses with praises, but we often neglect the importance of the backstage artist like the cameramen, the gaffer, and the editing team without whose efforts the film would not even have been able to get on the big screen. Nirmal Sharma is one such artist. Without his dedication towards his work, so many deserving films would have remained behind the screens, in the movie reels. It is Nirmal's decision and the decision of many such artists like him, to spend the radiant days of their lives in the dark Di theaters that give colors to our favorite and desired Bollywood motion pictures.
