Sushan Prajapati is a cinematographer and producer. He hails from Nepal. He is well-known for Lakhey, released in 2022. He was amongst the first batch of students in the Oscar International College, Sudhakara, Kathmandu, Nepal. The College of Film Studies has published his name as an alumnus of the college. He has a degree in Motion Picture Photography from the institution. Mubi, an online movie platform, has recognised his work as a director in The Shame, released in 2015 and as a Cinematographer in the 2019 movie Bulbul, directed by Binod Paudel.
The former was his directorial debut. His other two movies are Apabad released in 2012 and Raghav released in 2014. His role in Raghav was that of a producer. His other works include Karkash and Shanguro. The Shame was considered by the Ismailia Film Festival in 2015 under the short fiction category. The screenplay was by Ajit Lamichaane and the editing was done by Ujwaal Dhakal. Both direction and cinematography of the movie centred around Bhagwaray, a labourer in western Nepal.Â
